Koridai is The King's stage in Smash Bros. Lawl.

Layout[]

This is a non-hazardous stage representing the top of the Koridai landscape, with the only the left head (Lupay), right head (Militron), and Center Valley (Serigon Caves) currently confirmed to be platforms the fighters can stand on, though the old Stages Video shows that the small mountains in-between can in-fact be walked-upon. The space to the sides of the stage are clearly Blast Zones.

Scenery[]

The map consists of the upper regions of Koridai, with a red sky and some surrounding mountains in the background. It's a beaut (in a weird sort of way, considering the faces carved into some of the mountains).

Origin[]

WhereDoYouWishToGo

Koridai as seen in the original Faces of Evil.

Koridai originates as the primary location of Link: Faces of Evil, the CD-i game (along with Wand Of Gamelon) that King Harkinian originates from. The layout seen in Lawl is based off the map that Link uses to travel around Koridai to stop the evil forces of Ganon, the topmost section being the highest point of the region. Unlike the Revamp design, the original is an island of mountains that isn't surrounded by any extra mountains, and the only patch of red sky is centered around the volcano instead of the entire sky. Also the volcano isn't erupting like in the original.

Trivia[]

  • Koridai is one of the few stages that got smaller as it evolved, some sections (namely Nortinka, Shipwreck Cliff, and most notably Harlequin Bazaar) got shoved behind other locations to fit-in with the map's new sleek size.
