Scythecopter is Kneesocks' Up Special Move.
Overview[]
Kneesocks spins her scythes above her head, which allows her to hover for about 1.75 seconds in the air. The horizontal distance is really impressive, and the vertical distance is also pretty good, and the horizontal direction can even be changed!
However, there's still the main drain for this neato recovery, which is that Kneesocks would barely be able to damage any opponents with it. It only does 2% slashings per hit, and opponents don't get dragged away from it, so it's not very good for harming others. Maybe for stopping one of their attacks while recovering, but not for RAW DAMAGE!!!
(Also, the ascension can be stopped early by pressing A or B)
Origin[]
Scythecopter doesn't really have much of an inspiration, but it's likely to be based off the same one as Stripecopter, seeing how they're both extremely similar moves done by extremely similar characters.
Trivia![]
- Scythecopter is one of the few attacks prior to Sheev's moveset to not have any sort of Inspiration Clip, along the likes of Propaller, German Artillery, and You're Hired!
- Scythecopter, Stripecopter, Americopter, and Propaller are the only recoveries to have a flight-based suffix-pun for a name.
