Spartan Spear is Leonidas' Standard Special.
Description[]
Leo slowly raises his spear, during which he can tilt up or down to aim, along with being able to move back n' forth and jump. When he's done raising his spear, he throws it in a long arc, bringing a slash that deals 12% damage (same as Hero's Bow from Brawl).
Usage[]
The spear takes a while to windup, which gives the opponent some time to react to the throw, so it should be used carefully and at a decently-far distance.
Origin[]
The Spartan Spear is the main weapon of choice for the Spartans in 300, though the specific clip of inspiration was a slow-mo of Leonidas throwing his spear (hence why he takes so long to throw it).
